Nancy is known to millions as Andy Griffith’s law partner on TV’s Matlock and her many faith & family films but it’s her transparency, warmth, and great humor that immediately connects with others on a deep heart-level. Her passion is to help others grasp their true identity in Christ, break free from emotional and spiritual barriers that hinder, and discover wholeness and transformation. She motivates, inspires, and challenges others to live lives of significance, and pursue their dreams with excellence.

An actress for 30 years, she has been a series regular on six TV shows, including 5 years on Matlock and 3 years on the NBC Emmy-winning St. Elsewhere, and over 25 guest-star roles.  Her latest films include the romantic comedy First Lady and Faith, Hope & Love. Faith films currently streaming include Heritage Falls, Heaven Bound, and I’m Not Ashamed. And Hallmark holiday favorites include Christmas with a Capital C, Christmas for a Dollar, and Christmas Oranges.

A popular speaker, she is the author of two best-selling books, The Wonder of His Love, which Bible teacher Beth Moore says is “like a warm embrace from God Himself”, and Beauty by the Book: Seeing Yourself as God Sees You, called by ASSIST News “one of the most valuable Christian books to be published in decades.”

Nancy was Miss Florida in the Miss America Pageant and a journalism graduate of the University of Florida.  She serves on Advisory Boards of Dove Foundation, SAT-7, Biola University Studio Task Force, and the Board of Greenhouse Arts & Media -Hollywood pros investing in the next generation. She is a frequent guest on 700 Club, Daystar, 100 Huntley Street, Family Life and Revive Our Hearts Radio, and others.

Nancy’s husband, Larry Myers, a graduate of Dallas Theological Seminary, has been a pastor and worship musician since 1975 when he helped establish the original Vineyard Christian Fellowship. She has a step-daughter and 18 year old grandson.
